Catch That One

We ran a competition to win a holiday, supported by a deliberately high-impact campaign designed to cut through routine promotional content. Assets included a ‘Wish You Were Here’ postcard, an email campaign, and a prize announcement video.

Taking a Purple Cow approach, the campaign leaned into exaggeration and spectacle, drawing inspiration from vintage game shows that unapologetically over-celebrate the prize. The announcement video was intentionally ridiculous, using an over-the-top montage to spotlight the reward and make the moment memorable.

I filmed, edited, and starred in the video myself, embracing a self-aware tone that matched the playful intent of the campaign. The result was a cohesive set of assets that worked together to create surprise, humour, and shareability, while keeping the prize front and centre.
